Microsoft’s Office is threatened by Google Apps.

In the realm of Web 2.0, software applications, I think, are going online. What I mean is that we don’t need to care about what kind of applications are installed our PCs as long as the applications we like to use are available on the net. I believe Google has that vision and Google Apps Premier Edition does cater for the Web 2.0 vision of Google. So there will surely be battles between desktop applications and Web 2.0 applications in the near future.
