Microsoft's Surface Computing .

Microsoft introduced what it called 'surface computing' which basically means that it empowers us to do day-to-day computing jobs on the surfaces of our office desks. Surface computing is especially targeted at hotels, casinos, restaurants and the like. Keyboard and mouse are no longer needed and your fingers are used instead. The surface recognizes multiple points of contact simultaneously which means that we can click two clicks at the same time in desktop PC terms. For example, you can touch the corners of a photo with your fingers at the same time to manipulate the size of the photo. Unlike desktop PC which is intended for single user, the surface allows multiple users to use its 'surface' as we sit around casino table. Believe it or not, the surface also recognizes the contents of the digital devices when you place your digital camera on the surface.
